A cost effective high power lighting solution for crime scenes and SAR
STATIC AND MOBILE
Using an active gyro-stabilised pan tilt gimbal EOIR camera system, from the moment of launch the LUMINATOR module enables aerial operational control and informed decision making during the hours of darkness. Teams can quickly sweep an area, monitor a situation, identify any targets and remain vigilant to any change.
With RESPONDER’s quick payload change technology the LUMINATOR module is an effective tool for first responders at a crime or accident scene. It is also an effective and lower cost alternative to helicopter provided scene of search lighting.
SECURE DATA FEEDS
Transmitting via COFDM with optional encryption, the video relay is secure and reliable, giving operators the confidence to know that the UAV will provide the images they need for assessment and control.
The LUMINATOR module has been developed for search and rescue (SAR) applications where more expensive assets such as helicopters may not be easily available.
LUMINATOR can also be easily deployed by first responders at accident and crime scenes. An elevated lighting source provides much greater coverage than traditional ground based systems.
Quick swap battery capability combined with an optional powered tether provides extended flight duration when required.
An active gyro-stabilised pan tilt gimbal EOIR camera system delivers secure and reliable video relay, giving operators the images they need for assessment day or night.
The LUMINATOR module can be operated via the Ground Control Station (GCS - lite), deployed from a vehicle, boat or on the ground to enable pilots to move quickly from position to position to maintain their best vantage point while in full control of LUMINATOR.
Ergonomically designed to be worn by one person and powered from its twin ‘quick change’ battery pack, the GCS-lite allows your pilots the freedom to move as they wish to ensure that they maintain their perfect vantage point, maximising their control over the UAV at all times.
Pilots can walk, run or even use vehicles or boats to reposition themselves while operating and remaining in full control of their UAV. Within a few seconds of switching the system on, your pilot can be receiving video and launching any of the Search Systems’ vehicles.
